Specifically citing that cursive writing is no longer taught universally in K-12 education as a reason for the change, Washington College in Chestertown, MD, has introduced a new logo to replace the old one that featured George Washington’s original signature in his 18th-century script. To their credit, it WAS hard to read even for anyone that was taught cursive and even with what is basically a subtitle.
