Everything's Krona be Okay

FÍT — the Icelandic Graphic Design Association — with support from the Central Bank of Iceland held an open call for its members to submit ideas to design the Icelandic króna, that, unlike the British Pound, Euro, or Indian rupee, among others, does not have a dedicated glyph to denote its currency. From 70 proposals, a jury selected the above three as its favorites and an exhibit at Gróska Design and Architecture Center showcases a total of 16 submissions.
