No connecting thread this week as we jump from coffee to Mexican food and mezcal to confectionery and baked goods, with work from Mendoza, New York, and Stockholm. Cavro by Vantablack Studio Cavro is a specialty coffee in Argentina whose brand revolves around the legend of Kaldi, a goat-herder from Ethiopia in the 9th century, who one day found his goats dancing and noticed they were eating some red berries which turned out to be coffee. In Spanish, goat translates to “cabra” so I am guessing their name is a play on that and for some reason they have a whole “hell” theme going on but I am not one to question that.
