Old Grand-dad by Tavern First brewed in 1882 by Basil Hayden Sr., Old Grand-dad (as Mr. Basil came to be known) is a bourbon with a recipe passed on through generations and distilled with a higher percentage of rye. In late 2024, the James B. Beam Distilling Company released Old Grand-Dad 16-year, its oldest expression yet.
