I Kid You Nut

Mega-gas-station and market, Buc-ee’s, continues to bully small businesses in the various states it operates in, this time taking on men’s underwear brand, Nut Huggers. The cease and desist letter sent to the Oklahoma-based small business “claimed that Nut Huggers was infringing on Buc-ee’s trademark by using a ‘cartoon brown rodent character, smiling with buck teeth, in various depictions.’”. The squirrel mascot was designed by Brethren Design Co, who are known for kicking ass, not infringing on buck-toothed red pandas (kidding, it’s a beaver).
