This week, Alex Bec has chosen: A beautifully constructed, conceived and executed artist book by Tom Phillips. An original Victorian Novel that has been re-interpreted by selected parts of the copy to reveal a new story. A seminal post-modernist commentary and fantastic hand-rendered pages to boot. First published in 1980 ‘A Humument’ has been an ongoing project ever since. Share Article About the Author — Will is co-founder of It’s Nice That. Once one of the main contributors to the site, he stepped back from writing as the business expanded. He currently works across It’s Nice That, Creative Lives in Progress and If You Could Jobs.
