2025Keep Calm and Gorton
An intensely detailed, richly illustrated, and thorough appreciation by Marcin Wichary of one of the most often used, least often credited typefaces ever: Gorton. As a default font style for routers, engravers, and pantograph machines for decades — nay, centuries — it appears in pretty much every surface known to man. It’s a long read but also a very enjoyable scroll.
