Just when you think AI is about to surpass its lazy-people-stealing-other-people’s-work-and-passing-it-off-as-their-own stigma (and reality), it digs itself back into a hole: ChatGPT can now generate a full alphabet based on an existing logo and, at the link, Sirio Berati, a “visionary that uses AI to create without limits”, demonstrates just how awfully easy it is to build off of someone’s else work with nothing but a prompt. Try not to reach into your monitor as he proudly states that this is now his own custom font and doesn’t need to pay licensing.
