Slovene Partisan poster from the Second World War (1944) showing Nazi ghouls marching with a massive red fist behind them, representing the partisans. The Slovene Partisans formed part of the broader Yugoslav partisan movement and were among the most effective anti-Nazi resistance groups in Europe. The artist who designed this poster, Nikolaj Pirnat, was interned in Gonars concentration camp in Italy before joining the partisans as an artist in 1943.
