The Best Defense is a Good Renaming

In another brand-adjacent Executive Order, Trump has renamed the Department of Defense to the Department of War, as it was known from 1789 to 1947. The previous name was considered, as is now to be expected from this administration, to be too “woke” (despite having been introduced in 1949 before woke was even a concern) and, let’s face it nothing says “not woke” like the domain name war.gov.
