1935Clock
This Art Deco-style clock was made in Shanghai, the most fashionable Chinese city in the 1930s, and also the most technologically advanced. It is not known if B.E. Co. was a foreign firm trading in China. The consumer would have been either a Chinese eager to adopt a western life style, or a Westerner living in China at that time.
