1925Brooch
Stylized baskets of flowers were popular motifs for brooches during the 1920s. The angularity of much Art Deco was replaced with a softer line, although representation remained rather two-dimensional. These colourful pieces drew on a wide range of coloured gemstones and hardstones, or in this case coral and jade combined with the fashionable contrast of black and white.
