Bracelet

The use of carved hardstone links - in this case frosted rock crystal - creates an opulent effect, dramatically combined with links of black enamel and gold. Hardstone links were popular in bracelets during the 1920s but their fragility and their vulnerable position on the wrist means that many have not survived.
