2024Wanted: Dead or A Livery
Would you get on a completely un-branded airplane? On January 7, passengers boarded this plane leaving Chicago’s O’Hare airport to Owensboro, KY, on Contour Airlines flight number 3093. After Reddit user crowbar_k posted the images of the plane to Reddit — to some excellent comments (minus the 9/11 one) — Newsweek reached out to the airline, which confirmed the plane is a “regional aircraft used for charter flights, which typically bear a plain white exterior” but that it was made available for commercial flights to meet the busy travel season. Given the recent airplane malfunctions I would have skipped getting on the ghost plane and rented a car.
