Name: Tel Aviv-Yafo - Scientology Building - Alhambra Ro Description: The Alhambra (Al-Hamra) Hall, now a Scientology Hall, at 39 Jerusalem Boulevard, was designed by Lebanese architect Elias Al-Mour in the Art Deco style, for use as a movie theater for the "Cinema Palestine" company owned by Mamdouh Nabulsi. The magnificent hall was the most advanced in the Middle East and contained 1,200 seats. The hall was inaugurated on March 18, 1937, with the screening of the film "Nashid Al-Amali" (Song of Hope) starring the singer Umm Kulthum.
