The bus is Academy MCI #8950, in New York City. This is looking north (uptown) on West Street, from in front of the Whitehall Building between Battery Place and Morris Street. The copper-roofed building at left was designed by William Graul , built in 1882, and demolished in 2008 to make way for 50 West Street , whose construction has been plagued with delays as of 2015.
