New Orleans Central Business District. Building at uptown lake corner of Baronne & Common Streets. Opened in 1931 as the new Feibelman department store; sold to Sears in 1936, which occupied it into the 1980s. More recently it has housed hotels, sometimes with restaurants and small retail on the ground floor.
