A Mammoth Undertaking

Over the years I have made an effort to not post things just for the sake of public shaming and the general lack of bad design around the world has made that possible but this logo for a new airport in Mexico City, Aeropuerto Internacional Felipe Ángeles, is simply impossible to not share. As a Mexican, as a designer, and as the owner of a dog named Mamut (literally after the pachyderm like the one in the logo), I have no idea why there is a wooly mammoth in the logo and that’s just the start of all the questions I have about it.
