A Sign of Things Not to Come

In another Friday case of expectations vs. reality, the people of Detroit are a little disappointed with a new gateway sign that was promoted to be a Hollywood-style landmark. Part of the problem was an unofficial AI rendering published by the Michigan Chronicle that circulated widely and got everyone’s hopes up. Other than the terrible “OI” kerning in the AI render, yeah, that would have been cool.
