Chuck E. Cheese Origin Story

In a 2014 children’s-like book, the past of Chuck E. Cheese — full name Charles Entertainment Cheese — the mascot of the hellish arcade and pizza restaurant chain is brought to light: an orphan whose birthday is unknown and lived on the ceiling of a pizzeria in New York, where he moved to after winning $50 in a Pong (the video game) tournament, until the owner, Pasqually, discovered him and that he could sing. Naturally, the rest is history.
