Dominican Republic Logo Winner

To continue, and perhaps conclude, our reporting on the talent-show-style contest to design the country brand for the Dominican Republic, the winner was announced last week. Two finalist logos were presented to the public for voting and, taking 53% of the votes, the winner was Isabella Fernández with her “Open Arms” contribution. (You can see a video explanation of it at the 53:21 mark in the video — in Spanish, though.) I would have voted for the other logo but this one is still leagues above what they had originally tried to pass as a country brand.
