2026Don't Harm a Cow, Man
In other legal news, premium milk brand Fairlife is facing new pressure on its animal rights abuse record — it first faced backlash in 2019 — with a class-action lawsuit stemming from footage captured by Animal Recovery Mission in late 2024 that shows animal cruelty by one of Fairlife’s dairy suppliers. As it relates to Brand New, the class-action lawsuit claimed the brand’s name and logo were misleading, as the cows are living anything but a fair life. While the judge agreed with the claim, it’s unclear what, if any, consequences there will be. New name? New logo? With the sway that The Coca-Cola Company — owner of Fairlife — has, it’s doubtful it will come to that.
