Feeling Bleu

In July of 2020, the office of France President, Emmanuel Macron, changed the flags at Élysée Palace, the official residence of the President, to feature a dark navy blue as it looked after the French revolution instead of the brighter blue instituted in 1976 to match the blue on the flag of Europe. While no one noticed the change for more than a year, someone just did and now it’s a thing.
