Why It's In The Canon

"Wrenbridge" isn't something I have confident knowledge of — I can't identify it as a typeface, foundry, publication, or design project with enough certainty to write accurate, concrete claims about it.

If I wrote something now I'd be fabricating specifics, which would make the canon entry useless or wrong.

Can you give me a line or two on what Wrenbridge actually is? For example:

• Is it a typeface? By whom, when, for what purpose?
• A publication or brand using a specific type system?
• A wayfinding or environmental typography project?
