Barrio Vivo by Vegrande Barrio Vivo is a charming, rustic hostel in Mérida, Yucatán, México. The identity, designed by local firm Vegrande, builds on the charm and rustic-ness with a handful of different logos that all share a hand-drawn aesthetic and are arranged in purposely imperfect compositions that take on even more flavor when crafted in great materials like rusted copper or clay tiles. The signage throughout the hostel is equally playful, wobbly, and craftily executed, from emergency exit signs to bedposts.
