Some eclectic and varied work in style and client this week, with work from Tokyo and New York. dou dou by Koyuki Inagaki dou dou is a bakery and café in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, offering home-baked sourdough breads, croissants and other pastries. The identity, designed by Tokyo, Japan-based Koyuki Inagaki, features a barely-there and barely-legible hand-drawn logo with disproportionately large ascenders on the “d”s and tiny “o”s and “u”s. It’s almost hard to characterize it as a logo but I still love how different it is to pretty much anything we’ve shown on Brand New recently and how it goes in opposition of what we would think of as a bakery logo.
