Another eclectic and unrelated trio of projects this week, with work from Melbourne, Murcia, and Auckland. BAMMI by Hue Studio BAMMI is a small chain of restaurants with two locations in Australia — Brighton and Melbourne — slinging Bánh Mis, served on rolls that are baked fresh every hour or in bowls, rice paper rolls, or bao buns. The identity, designed by Melbourne-based Hue Studio, is also baked fresh with a wordmark that echoes the silhouette of the iconic roll as it gets ever so slightly thicker at the center. Using extra chunky letterforms, with the counterspaces in the “B” and “A” also in a similar roll shape, the logo looks as stuffed as a Bánh Mi but even if none of the visual allusions to the sandwich come through, it’s still just a feel-good logo with a great, fun presenc
