A trio of effusive and non-minimalist projects this week, with work from Denver/San Francisco, Austin, and Buenos Aires. High Desert by Ryan Bosse High Desert is a new cannabis brand offering traditional pre-rolls as well as their signature cannabis blend to use with a hookah. The identity and packaging, designed by Denver, CO- and San Francisco, CA-based Ryan Bosse, brings to life the name of the product with a trippy combination of Mojave-desert-inspired and cannabis iconography in a thin line approach which is then layered with some thicker line typography in a handful of satisfying configurations and funky holding shapes, putting to good use the stylistic alternates of Vocal Type’s Carrie.
