Three green-color-driven projects this week spanning very different clients, with work from Nashville, Los Angeles, and London. Tembo by Perky Bros Tembo is a real estate property development group that invests in high-quality multifamily and mixed-use developments primarily in New Jersey, where it is based — the name means “Elephant” in Swahili, a nod to the owner’s family’s South African roots. The identity, designed by Nashville, TN-based Perky Bros, features a lovely illustration of an elephant calmly going about its business on the grassy plains. I love the detail of the blades of grass… it grounds the drawing literally and metaphorically (although I’m not sure what the metaphor is).
