From lowbrow humor to high-end luxury, some good variety this week, with work from Guadalajara, Bratislava, and London. Extraño Accidente by Estudio Cariño Extraño Accidente (“Strange Accident” in Spanish) is a small brand of coffee available in Guadalajara and Mérida in Mexico. The identity, designed by Guadalajara-based Estudio Cariño, brings the name to life with the depiction of a strange accident: a coffee cup, flying out of nowhere, hitting a hip dude in the face. His deadpan expression, his mustache, his hairstyle, his cap… everything about the dude is kind of hilarious and how the coffee cups sinks into his cheeks is even better.
