Some fun and densely packed packaging projects this week, with work from the UK, Lima, and São Paulo. Fishsnax by STUDEAU Fishsnax, from the industrious José Andrés Group in Spain, is a new line of tinned seafood snacks available in four variations: sardines, octopus, anchovies, and mussels. The packaging, designed by UK-based STUDEAU, is a lovely nod to vintage sardine tins maintaining a kind of lo-fi, vernacular visual language but with a decidedly modern twist. In any other context, that logo would straight up be wack but accompanied by the charmingly crude illustrations and the rest of the off-kilter typography, it just works beautifully. The generously white-spaced, off-white background is also a nice shift from traditional tinned-anything where they are usually packed to the brim wit
