Get Up on the Wrong Side of the Bed Bath & Beyond

Overstock (est. 1999) recently announced that it will change its name to Bed Bath & Beyond after it acquired the company’s intellectual property and digital assets for $21.5 million. The goal is to combine the operational model of Overstock with the established Bed Bath & Beyond brand, despite the latter’s bankruptcy, liquidation, and final store closures. Personally, this is kind of baffling… Bed Bath & Beyond does not have the current greatest reputation as its glory days are way, way past them.
