Grounded Elvis

An alternate logo for the NFL’s New England Patriots that has made a handful of appearances has caused a small stir among the team’s fans concerned that the “Flying Elvis” logo is being replaced. The team provided an official response in a language most people can understand. Not that the original logo is the greatest but it still didn’t deserve to be so awkwardly fused into that “NE” ligature, even as an alternate.
