After a video surfaced earlier this year of someone noticing the misalignment in HBO’s famous opening logo animation, James Barnard dug a little deeper to find out what was going on, only to find out that the official vector file used by HBO logo has been misaligned for who knows how long. Where the story gets interesting is when Gerard Huerta, who originally drew this logo by hand, entered the chat to prove that it was perfectly aligned at some point and it was some early digitalization of his drawing that has been off all these decades.
