Jumpman Logo Origin?

Photographer Jacobus Rentmeester is suing Nike for basing its Jumpman logo on a photo he took in 1984 of Michael Jordan for LIFE (top left). Nike then used the same pose in 1985 for their ads (top right), for which Nike paid him $15K after he threatened litigation.
