Microsoft 365’s New Icons

Microsoft recently rolled out refreshed icons for its Microsoft 365 apps that are self-described as “small but significant design changes” and, in turn are “a reflection and a signal”. What do they mean? “As a reflection,” they explain, “they encapsulate how AI is shifting the discipline of design and the nature of product development” and “as a symbol, they embody an ethos rooted in connection, coherence, and fluid collaboration”.
