Dating back to 1250, Hackney Church is an Anglican Parish Church — a Western Christian tradition that has developed from the practices, liturgy, and identity of the Church of England following the English Reformation — in the London, UK, inner borough of Hackney. Formerly known as St John at Hackney Church, the organization partnered with nearby St Luke’s Homerton Terrace in 2018 to form what is now known simply as Hackney Church and serves over 800 people each week whether it’s through traditional services, kids and families programs, or helping the vulnerable.
