New Logo and Identity for Hotel Wren by Club

In a quiet corner of California’s high desert, where boulders catch the last warm light and palms sway beneath starlit skies, a 1940s motor lodge has been reimagined into a soulful modern retreat. Hotel Wren is a 12-room boutique retreat located in Twentynine Palms, just minutes from the lesser-traveled North Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. The transformation was led by Manola Studio, a Los Angeles–based multidisciplinary firm whose work spans architecture, preservation, landscape, furniture, and spatial experience. To articulate the brand visually, fellow L.A. creatives at Club were brought in to craft an identity rooted in presence, poetry, and place.
