New Logo and Identity for Hult Center by Common Curiosity
Opened in 1982, the Hult Center is a performing arts venue in Eugene, OR. Operated by the Cultural Services Division of the City of Eugene — which, side note, is also home of University of Oregon (with a 22,000+ student body) just in case you had not heard of Eugene before — it hosts more than 700 events and performances a year and is home to the Eugene Ballet, Ballet Fantastique, Eugene Concert Choir, and Eugene Symphony as its resident companies. The building, designed by Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer Associates, features a striking angular facade and inside sits the 2,447-seat Silva Concert Hall with a basketweave ceiling and a more intimate 495-seat Soreng Theater with an asymmetrical design.
