New Logo and Identity for Squirrels by Supple Studio

Launched today (in the year 2021, for future readers), Squirrels is the newest branch of the Scouts in the UK, created for 4- to 5-year-olds. As the first branch added to the Scouts in 35 years, Squirrels joins Beavers (6 – 8 years), Cubs (8 – 10.5 years), Scouts (10.5 – 14 years), Explorers (14 – 18 years), and Network (18 – 25 yers) in the Scouts’ mission to “actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.” Following two years of pilot programs and preparations in Northern Ireland, the branch was created in part due to the isolation created by the pandemic and is designed to support informal learning and help 4- and 5-year-olds catch up by promoting key skills like working together, communication, a
