Nu Font, who dis?

São Paulo, Brazil-based Blackletra Type Foundry shares their work on a custom type family designed for Nubank, one of the largest digital banks in the world, currently serving over 120 million customers across Latin America and recently branching out in the United States. Called Nu Sans, the family includes three widths, four weights, italics and two optical sizes – Text and Display – for a total of 32 fonts. A little on the trendy side with its wispy ink-trap-y features but the condensed style is quite nice. The Text version, though, might be the unsung hero here.
