2023Porsche, is that you?
In 1961, coinciding wth the ‘T8 programme’ — the successor to the Porsche 356 — Porsche’s head of advertising, Hermann Lapper, was concerned the logo we all know was too busy and complex and attempted to redesign it. He turned to Hanns Lohrer, who contributed significantly to Porsche’s identity over the years, to draw some options. Pictured above. Never selected. The middle one is kind of hot tho.
