During the renovation process of the 69-year-old Aggie Gym at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma, crew workers found a surprise on the floor after they removed a trophy case: a 1960s imprint of the university’s mascot, “Ole Kim”, seen, in this particular instance “astride his trusty steed, Pancho”. (Ole Kim looks a bit different nowadays.) The version of the mascot found had not been seen or used on campus for over 50 years. It’s not like they found King Tutankhamen’s Tomb but it’s still a pretty cool find. At the link a local news segment and here a link to a Cameron University Facebook post.
