The Love Symbol

Had Unicode or Emojis been universally available in 1993 when Prince changed his name to the symbol (the artist formerly known as Prince) things would have been easier for the press, who received a floppy disk (shown here, from the collection of Anil Dash) with a single font in it with a single glyph in it.
