2009Untitled
An illustration of a bodice on black paper; the bodice is depicted as a series of curved lines which were drawn using black pen on paper before being photocopied onto the final paper and silver leaf was applied. Six feathers are drawn using white pencil crayon on the left upper edge of the bodice. An outline of the bodice is drawn on a tracing paper overlay using coloured pencil crayon. Although the tracing paper is attached, the designer does not consider it part of the artwork.
Fashion illustration, depicting a bodice designed by Issey Miyake in 1982, drawn by Hiroshi Tanabe, New York, 2009
