2023A Sight for ’saur Eyes
Debuting in 1992 on PBS, Barney & Friends entertained (although more like terrorized) babies and toddlers (and their parents) for nearly 20 years until it stopped airing new episodes in 2010. In 2024, Mattel is bringing back the purple dinosaur as an animated character — instead of the live action, person-in-a-suit approach of the original — and the revived franchise will span television, film, and YouTube content as well as music and a full range of kids’ products including toys, books, clothing, and more.
