2024Dead Lion Walking
Lyle’s Golden Syrup, which has been using the same logo since 1883 — a depiction of the dead carcass of a lion with honeybees from Samson’s riddle — has introduced a new logo and packaging for its squeeze bottles. The classic tin, though, will remain unchanged, except for the new logo appearing on the top, which will extend its already impressive Guinness World Record set in 2006 as the “Oldest branding (packaging)” in use since 1885. The change would warrant a proper critique but there is no information about it. Bigger view of the new logo in the comments.
