Don’t Watch this Space

Back in 2020, the Trump administration introduced the logo for the U.S. Space Force, the sixth and newest branch of the U.S. military. At the time, Reason, a libertarian magazine, filed a Freedom of Information Act request to the Air Force for drafts or alternate designs for the logo. Four years later, the Air Force finally sent the documentation but redacted all of the good stuff, obscuring all of the alternate logos created by Senior Master Sergeant Christian Michael. I doubt anyone wants to steal whatever wasn’t good enough compared to the final logo. Story at the link, redacted docs here.
