A pair of pared down projects sandwich a highly ornamental one with work from New York, Salt Lake City, and Berlin. Utility Garments by STUDIO NEWWORK Utility Garments is a clothing line from Japanese fashion brand Markaware that sells practical, unadorned t-shirts, shirts, denim, knitwear, and outerwear — utilitarian pieces, basically. I don’t expect this project to get a high percentage of “Great” votes as it’s far from a classically exciting Friday Like but, as designed by New York, NY-based STUDIO NEWWORK, the almost absurdly minimalist design is handled exceptionally well and, more importantly, it fits the product.
