Plenty of variety in styles this week, with work from Vilnius, Moscow, and Budapest. Neringa by Critical Neringa, originally only the name of the restaurant in its building, is a hotel in a historic landmark in Vilnius, Lithuania, that recently reopened after a three-year renovation to create the new hotel, revive the restaurant, and add three bars. The identity, designed by local firm Critical, introduces a custom wordmark that has been inspired by the historical logos of the restaurant throughout its history since the 1950s but that doesn’t reference any style in particular.
